Most embarrassing moment?
So many to choose from....
1984/1985 Buxton Contest - "A Malvern Suite" Cobden Chadwick Brass Band
I am sat on Principal Cornet preparing to play the Cornet Solo and I blew for my first note and ‘nothing’ came out...not even a squeak? I looked at my 'bumper-up' who had her cornet on her knee and stared at me blankly...so my Dad who was conducting sang the Solo instead.
Anything to add?
Blackley Band is one of the hardest working bands I know, and one of the friendliest, I am very happy to be back in the fold again.
