Playing History:
Started playing in July 1995. Played with Shaw Youth Band before joining Blackley in October 2007.
Favourite Piece?
Orange Juice...typical answer for a Flugel player i guess but i love it!!
Worst Piece?
Boston Bounce...played it far to many times as a kid, it is an awful piece!!
Proudest banding moment?
Can i change this to most memorable moment? It has to be playing at the Youth Proms at the Bridgewater Hall when i was about 13 and us bringing the house down...still gives me goosebumps thinking about it!!
Most embarrassing moment?
Far to many to pick the most embarrassing but unintentionally doing the splits in the band room has to come high up the list!!!

Fancy a walk up Scafell Pike? Neither do some of us, but we will be doing that and other events to raise money towards a new uniform in 2012 and France trip in 2014, we hope you can support us in these events or at our upcoming concerts and remember if you need a band or more information please contact us.
We have a few gaps in the ranks, if you are a Percussionist or brass player looking for a friendly, forward thinking band please feel free to get in touch.
Our involvement at the Winter Gardens this year meant we spent a lot of time waiting around, the result wasn't what we wanted but as always we had a great day in Blackpool.
We have a busy Christmas ahead, come and support us when you can, we hope to see you all on December 10th at the Annual Christmas Concert
A 7th place in St Helens with a promising outlook for the upcoming contest season
