4th at Preston

Our first contest under Dan was a succesful one, despite the early start the band were on top form on stage in the Guild Hall at Preston to put on a fabulous performance of A Saddleworth Festival Overture which earned us a fourth place, just outside the prizes. The performance will certainly boost our confidence heading in to the NW Area Contest in Blackpool in March where we will be competing in the 4th section.

A massive thank you to the players that helped fill a couple of holes on the day, and a welcome to our new stand in percussionist Chalce who has agreed to help us out at the areas as well.
