A Sorry Goodbye (almost)

Dan joined the band 2 years ago when Adie stepped down, during his time with us we have continued to improve and expand our experiences including two first places at Bolsover Entertainments contest and a successful trip to the French Open where we also brought back first place. We also participated in the Deutches Musikfest in Chemnitz and helped Manchester celebrate 30years of the twinning of the towns. We also achieved our best finish in recent years (7th) at the North West areas in 2014.

Dan has continued to test the band with challenging pieces and pushed us to improve on both the concert and contest stage  and we will be looking for his replacement to continue in the same vane. We have posted an advert today for applications and would encourage anyone who thinks they are up for the challene to apply.

We want to thank Dan for everything he has done for us and wish him all the best for the future and we promised over the next couple of months we will give our best so you go out with a bang in Blackpool and hopefully as North West 4th section champions.
