As part of our fundraising efforts for France 2011 we are hosting a Folk Nite with The Hindle Wakes, if any of you came along to the recent folk & brass nights then you will know how fantastic these guys are. There is also a young folk group going to be performing on the night and we have put an invite out to anyone who wants to join in, so who knows what you may here if you come along.
Tickets are priced at £6 and can be pre-ordered by emailing us through the Contact Us form.
The show takes place at Blackley Community Centre on Saturday 26th March, Doors and Bar open from 7pm with the entertainment starting around 730pm.

A 7th place in St Helens with a promising outlook for the upcoming contest season

3rd Place at Preston, another fantastic performance by the band and a great springboard to head in to the Nationals at the end of February.
The band secure 3rd place playing Royal Mile Suite in St Helens also picking up the Best Cornet prize.
The band once again supprt the veterans, soldiers and cadets on the march through Heywood Town Centre.

Blackley place 10th at the contest in Prestatyn after an up and down day, but one that ensured we all stood together as one and showed what it truly meant to be a part of a band.

The President once again hosts a very popular and entertaining concert that is free to the patrons. Thanks to all patrons goes out from the band.
We had a great night out at Whit Friday and came out with a Best 4th Section at Friezland, we are still waiting on the full list of results.
