We’re busy but enjoying it

It’s all very exciting for the band at the minute, we have a lot of concerts over the next couple of months.

We will be hosting our Presidents Guest Concert on Sunday April 14th at the bandroom, this is a free concert by the band where patrons and friends can come along and enjoy the band, this year we will be playing out some programme items that we are taking to Germany and it promises to be a fabulous concert. If you wish to sign up to be a patron then we will be taking donations on the day as well and you will receive letters throughout the year inviting you to concerts and other events. The concert starts at 14:30, refreshments will be available and we hope to see a packed hall.

We follow it up with concerts in Albert Square on the 21st, Middleton Masonic on the 25th and Bridge Street Methodist church on the 26th of April, all celebrating St George’s day with a traditional style concert, always enjoyable concerts.

Then as we move in to May we run out more of the Germany festival at Boarshurst band club on May 5th, before finally flying out for the weekend in Germany where we will be part of 15,000 musicians participating in a festival of music out there. There will be 3 concerts out there and Dan has chosen very different concerts all designed to fully entertain and no doubt there will be some choreography and pictures and videos will follow.

Please check the calendar for more information and I’ll follow up soon with more information. Please support us over these concerts and for the future, we are having a very busy year and looking forward to playing for all.
